The macromolecular crystallography beamline will be a double crystal monochromator (DCM) line illuminated by a small gap in-vacuum undulator. It will be the central component of the Canadian Macromolecular Crystallography Facility (CMCF).
CMCF will be an integrated facility with capabilities for
- multiwavelength anomalous diffraction (MAD) crystallography
- mounting crystals and collecting data sets on the beamline
- archiving, analysis and presentation of results
- sharing results via the internet
