This proposed beamline is intended as a workhorse for high resolution powder diffraction analyses for the determination of structures and accurate electron densities. It will be equipped to perform the following experiments:
- Angle-resolved and energy-resolved powder diffraction
- High pressure diffraction - see recent CHESS Newsletter on work of Serge Desgreniers
- Time-resolved powder diffraction
- Single crystal diffraction
- Small angle scattering
